BNL nite run - North Gate

Sunday 26th November 2006 RJS and SDS. Reactor to North gate then to the outside perimeter fense of BNL. Cold but nice night. 4.22 miles. 40 mins.

Shirley Run

Happy Thanksgiving. First day back after a week of conf and severe beam time. Still feel very worn out and fatigue quick to set in. Struggled to complete the 5K (3.17miles) with cold weather and strong winds. Sun was out but no consilation. Randy is in Wisconsin. - SDS

AVS 5K

Wednesday 15th Nov 2006 Beautiful race along the shoreline with views of the Golden gate bridge, Alcatraz and the Bay bridge. One great big hill killed everyone.. and the second time up it was no good either. The weather was good but the 6.30am start was tiring! SDS 21mins.

apartments 5K

7:00pm, dark, a warm 58F. I feel a cold coming on, but decided to run anyway. A decent pace (no time measuring devices). If you haven't heard, a pipe broke and flooded the gym floor last weekend causing major damage. No volleyball league for at lease a few months. :( SDS, I had a feeling you would like SF. Good luck with the 5K.

San Fransisco Run #1

What an awesome city.. !! SDS attending American Vacuum Society (AVS) meeting. 4.48miles 55feet total. Prof Idriss joined the run. Really raining heavily with lots of traffic and people every where. Darkness set in and was a problem. Registered for AVS 5K on Wednesday. Randy hope you are keeping up the running back at BNL!!

Tempo 5K - BGRR to Apartments

Raining 'cats and dogs'! Small lakes forming around the route. 6.30pm start so very dark conditions with lots of debris on the route. 3.1miles SDS 21mins, RJS 25mins.

Running out of the old Graphite Reactor..

RJS and SDS have lockers out of the old graphite reactor building. Many thanks to John Dabrowski (NSLS) for following it up and getting them organised ! Locks are on and all set to go.

Monday, 6th Nov 2006 RHIC - 4.6 miles 110 feet - cold night run... Sanj alone. Randy volleyball.

refereshing 3 miles

46deg and no wind- It's a good night to run. NSLS-Meadow marsh loop (reverse direction from the map). Ankle's sore but not bad. The cold are is refreshing. Start 6:30pm, 3.6mi, time: 31:01. Randy solo.

Spaghetti 10K
